Error 'ping' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Following is the Error:-

Solution to the above error:-

Step I - Click on Start --- > All Programs --- > Accessories --- > Right Click on Command Prompt then Click on Run as administrator.

Step II - It will prompt you user account control pop up just click yes on it or if it prompts you for the username and password than provide Admin username and password.

Step III - Now run the ping command with destination IP address.

Now ping will start working.

Note:- If you configured the Administrator password then it will prompt you for the administrator password provide the credential.
